Methodology
The online methodology focuses on two main pillars: adaptability to work rate and availability; and continuous monitoring of learning through mentoring. Using these two pillars, we aim to achieve the maximum training effectiveness and personal attention that makes our online experience a total development opportunity.
JCI's online philosophy is based on the following principles:
- Placing the student at the center of the learning system
- Learning by doing
Learning is a skill that takes into account individual needs in terms of the professional, technological and social evolution. The mentor is responsible for accompany the student throughout the learning process. The learning rate is adapted to the student's work rate and availability.
Communication and trouble shooting is done by chat, video and-or email, and the program is designed for compatibility with any medium: PC, iPhone, smartphone, etc.
Students simultaneously share a social network that assists proactive working in their learning while creating knowledge and knowledge-sharing experiences. Just as learning and teamwork generate reciprocity among all of the players on a football team, our program produces a process of knowledge construction in which students learn more than just “information” as, a result of their interaction with other group members.
Our methodology allows for constant online renewal and updating of training materials. In addition, students can access additional resources (virtual library, multimedia learning materials, references, etc.) to deepen their understanding of different areas and subject matter.
